
The convention, which will be the first in southeast Asia, is a project of the Philippine Society of Neurological Rehabilitation, the Thailand Society of Neurological Rehabilitation and the Hong Kong Rehabilitation Society.
The congress will have Dr Rey Matias of the Philippines, Dr Witsanup Kumthornthip of Thailand and Professor Leonard SW Li of Hong Kong as co chairmen. Dr Manolete C. Guerrero will serve as overall chairman and Professor Raymond Rosales will serve as Honorary Chairman.
The venue is the Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu, an important city landmark, which will provide participants with a breathtaking view of Cebu. Be sure to register and book your accommodations early!

This meeting is organised under the auspices of the Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialists. The aim of the conference is to present an up-to-date evidence based review of acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury rehabilitation and to give a basis for further development of this important area in rehabilitation. The topics will be: brain plasticity, neuroimaging, neuropsychology in stroke, motor control, spasticity, motor and physical training, outcome measures for brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, evidence for rehabilitation programs and follow-up studies after rehabilitation programs.
